Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts

     Sniper: Ghost Warriors Contracts will be released on November 22, 2019, and launching on Xbox, Playstation, and PC. This is the City Interactives fifth installment in the series and this time they are ditching the normal open-world shooter this time around. The game will consist of 5 large sandbox-style maps with 25 contracts to complete.        Sniper Ghost Warrior is a video game series developed and published by City Interactive. They are a Polish company based in Warsaw, best known for Lord of the Fallen and of course Sniper Ghost Warrior. Here is a wiki link to the history of the company

   Sniper: Ghost Warrior Games Throughout the Years 

     Their first installment came back in June of 2008, with the title "Sniper: Art of Victory". It was released on Microsoft Windows only at the time and reviews have not been received well since, usually always in 30/100 range on most review sites. To put into perspective here are a few other games released that year: GTA 4, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Gears 2.. Just a brutal year of competition!  

Sniper: Ghost Warrior was received much better than its predecessor when it was released in 2010. This time releasing on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 to help reach a bigger audience. The game was given props for having a compelling story and unique sniper cams but still lacked in the AI difficulty department. Regardless of the setting, the enemy could go from a blind buffoon to an aimbot hacking legend in seconds. 

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was released in March of 2013 at the end of the Gen 3 life cycle (Xbox 360, PS3). It was overall given the same critic as the last installment. Most reviews averaging 5/10 just for how bone dry the actual gameplay was for most players. Other notable games released that year: Skyrim, The Last of Us, Far Cry 3, God of War: Accession, Crysis 3.  

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 was released in April 2017, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Yet again most reviews for this game sat at an average of 5/10 on most sites. People who enjoyed the series and thought it had a great chance to rival sniper elite said the game had a weak stealth system, bland story, and an open world that was pointless. 

Disclaimer: I'm not for any personal reason crapping on the games above; having played the first two myself and reading countless reviews until my eyes hurt this is the main voice throughout the community.

Sniper Elite vs. Sniper Ghost Warrior: This has been a battle that unless you were actually looking you'd never notice. Rebellion Development had a hefty head start releasing its first title in 2005 with "Sniper Elite". Here is a timeline of the title releases below!
